Business lunch held with the Good News Business Club
One of the major goals of the Church is to help people discover and carry out God's divine plan for their lives. God created and called every man and woman, and He is equipping each of His children to fulfill the destiny He has set before them. His plans for believers certainly include their jobs and careers. The Good News Business Club was created to help Christians achieve the desires God has placed in their hearts and to integrate Christian values into the workplace, reports Rick Renner Ministries.
On May 11, the Good News Business Club met for a late lunch following Sunday's service to learn practical principles, grounded in the Word of God, designed to help businesspeople prosper and achieve success. Pastor Rick Renner delivered a powerful message based on his years of experience in international ministry, television production, and publishing. He highlighted specific areas in which businesses can grow and develop. Most of all, he encouraged his audience never to forget that their primary focus is not profitability, but people. "Whatever your product is," Pastor Rick stressed, "the focus is on the customer - how to better serve them and meet their needs."
Approximately 100 people benefited from Pastor Rick's thought-provoking and insightful message. Special guest Bob Yandian also contributed some reflections from his years of successful ministry. Church members from a wide range of professions - including business owners, construction workers, real-estate developers, entrepreneurs, and people in the service professions - all enjoyed the time of teaching, networking, and fellowship.
Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that God's thoughts are "to give us an expected end." Through the Good News Business Club, we want to equip the Body of Christ with the spiritual and practical tools necessary to fulfilling the unique call that God has placed on their lives.
